For a collaboration as special as ours with Brydie Mack @wolfcubwolfcub, we needed to bring it to life for some of her close friends up in Byron Bay. Some, Brydie had known for years, touching base on shoots across the globe, others, she'd never met but had been longtime 'penpals' over social media. One thing was mutual: we're all fangirls of Brydie's work!
A mix of creatives gathered and styled their Spell x Wolfcub styles all so differently, giving us more ideas on how to style the pieces ourselves for different climates and occasions!
Event notes:
The event came together with a vision from Brydie - stemming from the table scape of her dreams: she wanted olive trees to be seemingly growing up out of the tables, with a luxe neutral palette to surround. We worked with amazing local vendors and event stylist Jessica Bartlett to create Brydie's vision (and one of our team member's Ally created table toppers to bring this tree illusion to life!). With unpredictable weather, we decided to head to the hinterland to the amazing Orchard Estate (the backdrop to a Spell Xmas Party in the past!) so we had an indoor option... which we had to take due to some very windy conditions!
The tables were topped by Bed Threads linens, neutral ceramics and the food was served on a local ceramist's creations and cake stands by Melissa Lellouche. Our table was surrounded by clusters of flowers by our friends at Nikau.
We paired with one of our favourite local caterers, One Green Acre and Natural Order Wine to take the Spell x Wolfcub experience into a taste experience, finished off by vegan cakes by Vagabond.
